Knowledge of IPv6 and programming

 Course Content

In a four-day class designed for developers, do a quick overview of the IPv6 protocol and learn how the APIs have been modified to support IPv6. Topics covered include IPv6 fundamentals, IPv6 addressing structures, DNS and security within the IPv6 paradigm, API modifications, integration methods, existing IPv6 porting tools, developing protocol independent programs, programming and utilizing the IPv6 extension headers, and design considerations for the IPv6 socket API. This material is accompanied by extensive lab experience designed to provide you hands-on experience with the IPv6 API and porting tools.
